Day1: Marrakesh – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Marrakech 3 days desert tour The mornings in this region are always beautiful. The people appreciate it to the point of never missing the sunrise of any day. The day here, start one hour before sunrise. After breakfast, we will start uncovering the beauties and the roots of the Kingdom. This trip will take us to the fascinating Sahara desert through mesmerising natural sceneries. Following the footsteps of the founders of this country, our journey will start from Marrakesh. Our scenic route marks our road-trip with colourful landscapes and tidy Berber Villages. Our first stop will be in Ouarzazate for Lunch. The menu is stuffed with diverse options of dishes. Then we will head south towards the Dades Valley through the oasis of Skoura. Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley.

Day2 Dades Gorge– Todra Gorges – Merzouga

Marrakech 3 days desert tour After breakfast, we will head towards the fascinating cliffs of Todgha. We will drive through the Dades Valley, where we will see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Then, we will surrender to the beauty of the Kasbahs. Along the way to the Sahara, we will notice Nomad villages scattering around in the feet of the Atlas Mountains and around the Oasis and Water sources. They lay there comfortably with their minarets standing stout resisting the desert harsh conditions and looking over them in a Father-like posture. Upon our arrival to Todgha Gorges, we will notice their breath-taking height. Upon our arrival to the gate of the Sahara and the great Oasis of Taffilalet, we will stop in Erfoud for a short break to see the diverse cultural heritage this region has. Then we will head to Merzouga as our last stop in the desert. Upon our arrival, a camel man will welcome us with a pot of mint tea as his ancestors used to do. Then he will carry us on the back of his camel caravan following invisible pathways to a nomad camp. In this camp, we will enjoy nomadic mythical dances and sleep under the Milky Way and the Poles Stars

Day3: Merzouga – Rissani – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

Marrakech 3 days desert tour Early in the morning, our Camel man will wake us up to not miss another fascinating view of a desert sunrise. Then we will camel trek back to take breakfast in our Riad in Merzouga. Then, we will proceed to Er-Rachidia via the towns of Rissani and Erfoud. In Rissani, we will walk within the traditional Souk, a mixture of vegetables, spices and dates. In this souk, we will see a wave of sounds and smells that will move all our sensations in traditional scenery of hooded men and veiled women bargaining prices. We will have lunch In Tinghir and Todra Gorges; we will discover the highest, narrowest Gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the Gorges, we will proceed to the Rose’s valley where we will see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. These castles inspired Jimmy Hendrix during his trip to Morocco in the 60s; he wrote, “Castle Made of Sand”. We will stop at Kalaa M’gouna in the Roses Valley to purchase the rosewater and enjoy the heavenly like atmosphere in the region. Then we will continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Et Hami El Glaoui, the founder of this Kasbah, was one of the last Berber chieftains during the 19th century. Our last stop will be in Marrakesh where will have a sight on the famous square of Jamai’ ElFna.
